Iredell VINELink Release Limits
VINELink is not a release order, a guarantee of immediate data delivery, or proof that no other agency holds the person. A recently booked, released, or transferred record can lag. The service also does not function as an Iredell 24-hour or 72-hour release list. Search one person, preserve the exact status, and recheck after an alert.
Federal custody follows different paths. Use the BOP Inmate Locator for a current or former sentenced federal prisoner. A BOP result saying the person is released or not in BOP custody only describes BOP. Federal pretrial placement may be controlled by the U.S. Marshals Service and explained through the federal court.
